This article is for people who use Campaign Manager and/or Location Manager. If you only use Field app, you don't need to worry about two-factor authentication.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an extra security step for your account. We use an authenticator app to do this. The app gives you a One-Time Password (OTP) to enter and access the app.

If you can't use the authenticator app, you need to reset your login information. To do this, click on 'Forgot your password?' on the login page. Enter the email address you use to log in and click 'Submit'.

You will get an e-mail containing a link. Click on it and follow the steps. First, set up a new authenticator app. Give it a clear name to tell it apart from others. Next, change your password. It's like what you did when you first made your account.

Once you're done, you can log in with your new information. If you still have the old authenticator app, you might need to pick the new one when you log in.

To remove the old authenticator app, go to the account portal. You can find it through these links or in Campaign Manager and Location Manager:

Europe
Australia
New Zealand

In the account portal, click 'Authenticator' on the left. You'll see a list of your authenticator apps. To remove one, click on the bin icon next to it.

For a full overview of the functionality in the account portal please review this article.
