Briggs+Walker has two types of login. Based on which type of user you are there is a different way to get into the application.
β
First there are crewmembers / agents / canvassers and all other Field Marketing Heroes that go out in the field, we refer to them as crewmembers. They only use the Field app so they can execute the campaign.
β
Other users, including planners, office managers, account managers and fundraising managers have access to the Campaign Manager and Location Manager as well. We refer to them as Application Users.
Crewmembers
To access the Field app you can use your current username. This is typically a combination of the domain and your crewcode. How to obtain a password depends on your agency.
It is one of the following ways:
A default password has been provided to your agency. Your backoffice can provide this password so you can use it once to login. During the login you will be prompted to change the password. The provide password should be a strong password. You can find our password policy here: Strong Passwords.
Your agency has an automated way of setting passwords. In these cases you can continue to login with your current password.
Your agency has provisioned accounts with unique credentials. Your backoffice can provide you with the username and password you should use during login.
The backoffice of your agency has been informed which scenario applies to you and they should be able to help you get access to the application.
If after you go to the application (or hit the login button) see a white screen with the message 'The URL was blocked by a content filter' your tablet has been restricted by your backoffice. They should whitelist the URL login.briggsandwalker.com to solve this problem.
Application users
If you have access to more applications than just the Field App you will have to use your email address as a username. The email address-based account will give you access to all accounts that currently use that email address. You should use your email address as a user name.
You will receive (or have already received) an email that will instruct you how to set up an authenticator app and password. You'll need both to enter the applications since they will introduce Two-Factor Authentication across the full application. All steps are explained in our article about OTP setup.
