Contract status is used to record the progression and final result of the process that happens in between the sign-up and the definitive closure of the sign-up. Contract statuses can be used for intermediate statuses (fe. new, in call centre, billable), churn reasons (fe. couldn't make contact, had regrets), or definitive statuses (fe. completed, credited, billed).

To create contract statusus go to Campaign Manager and log in with your credentials.

  • Go to 'Settings'.

  • Select 'Domain'.

  • Select 'Contract Status'.

  • Click the plus icon to create a new status.

Compulsory fields:

  • Select the domain from where this result can be referenced.

  • In 'Contract status code' fill in the unique key of the contract status. This code should be equal to the code used in the imports.

  • In 'Description' fill in a detailed explanation of the result for internal use within your organization.

Optional fields:

  • Select a quality control match(address contact check result). When set the status will be used for contracts that fail that specific check.

  • Enable 'Initial' if this is the default status for new contracts. This can only be true for one status.

  • Enable 'Definitive' if this contract status cannot be overwritten. When true contracts with this status the status will no longer be changed by imports or automatic status changes.

  • Fill in the amount of days in 'Given automatically after' when you want this contract status to be applied automatically. This is useful to mark default periods that succeed if no churn is reported. For example, after a couple of days it can be assumed that the status 'Call Centre Completed' is reached.

  • Enable 'Churn' if this contract status means that the sale has been lost/canceled. This is important for reporting purposes. Contracts that have this status will no longer be altered by an automatic status change.

  • When you are content with the contract status configuration, press 'save'
