Via Campaign Manager it is possible to upload address lists for Door to Door and Address Based projects. You can either include or exclude addresses from availability in Field App and Location Manager.

Address lists are applied on a project level within a campaign and affect all forms that are contained in that project.

Address lists have a few rules that must be adhered to;

  • Address lists must be uploaded in CSV format.

  • Values must be separated with Semicolons ( ; ).

  • Windows line endings must be used.

  • The first row must be data, not column headers.

  • The last row directly following the last row of data must be empty.

  • Address lists with less than 10,000 lines of data uploaded before 12:00 pm midday will be processed on the same day.

  • Address lists with more than 10,000 lines of data will be processed in the following night batch regardless of when it has been uploaded. It will be available the next day.

  • Keeping the aforementioned in mind it is thus required to completely delete all empty rows and columns otherwise the system will check them and errors can occur (with the exception of the last row which must be empty).

  • We advise when possible to process address lists at least one day in advance of when they are required.

  • Typically an Address list that has been processed and imported will be visible in the Location Manager in about 10 minutes. When this does not happen, first check the format by downloading the list and reuploading it with any required corrections.

Address list format

Allow individual addresses to be included or excluded, they have 11 columns in order from left to right:

  1. Postal Code: 4 digits (in NL; two letters)

  2. House Number: only numbers are accepted.

  3. House Number Suffix: any additional address information.

  4. Geo Coordinate Longitude: numerical longitude value.

  5. Geo Coordinate Latitude: numerical latitude value.

  6. Memo: any extra information, maximum of 4000 characters.

  7. Include or Exclude: I for include and E for exclude; determines if the address is to be included or excluded from the availability in the Field App and Location Manager.

  8. URL: Include a link to a website or relevant page.

  9. Address Description: Additional information specifically about the location of the address.

  10. Color: Hex code colors (#000000) are accepted and will be displayed as such in the Field App and Location Manager.

  11. Date: Enter a date to determine until when the address will remain in the system. For includes this means after this date the address will no longer be available where as for excludes this mean after the date the address will again become available.

Rows 1, 2 and 7 are compulsory where as rows 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10 and 11 are optional.
