To make sure that newly hired personnel can start working as soon as possible, they have to start their onboarding at your company by using the Crew App.

In this article, our goal is to guide you, and to give you a general idea about what new personnel should provide during their onboarding journey. However, take into consideration that depending on your country, there can be variations or differences in what information you will read in this article, as it is most likely defined by law.
The moment that new personnel are logging into the Crew App, they will be met with a welcome screen. In here, we inform them shortly and they are able to look at a template contract before actually going through the registration process.
To verify if they can work for the company, we immediately ask them if they are in possession of a national number/social security number. In case that they don't have one, they will be met with a message that they should first get one from the local government before they can continue. They are also able to set a profile picture.
In here, new personnel have to provide their personal details like their 'Initials', 'First name', 'Given names', 'Prefix', 'Last name' and so on.
Now they can provide their contact information, like mentioned before, the screenshot provided here can vary depending in what country your operating.
It's a general policy in every company to have a emergency contact in case that something may happen to personnel, and in here they can fill it in. To prevent any misleading data in this, they aren't allowed to fill in their own contact information.
Since most personnel are students in this line of work, it's convenient to know if they are a student and if they are in possession of public transportation card.
In here, they will be asked to provide their ID documents, and depending what they will select, this section will change to help personnel uploading their documents.
Attention: Since these documents are to be checked by your HR department, make sure that the pictures you upload are clear to read for them.
Like asking personnel about their education, it's also convenient to know if they are in possession of a drivers license. If they are, then they can upload it here.

For obvious reasons like that personnel wants to receive their salary, they can provide their bank account details in here.

In most countries, personnel have the option to benefit from certain tax reliefs. Take in mind that this vary based in what country you're operating from. If they're having any doubts about what to select, they can always contact your HR department.
This will be a summary of everything that they've filled in during their registration process so far, they can check if everything provided is correct, they are able to view the template contract one more time, they have to check some agreement boxes and they are able to set their signature to finalize their registration for the company.

Now that the registration process is completed from the personnel side, the provided information will now be validated by your HR department. Since validating each new submission can take some time, we urge personnel to do this in advance and not on their first working day.
